Testimonials

I am excited to tell you of our experience with Mark Blaweiss as our college advisor. I say our because he saw our family, not just our son, as his client. Mark helped us navigate the sometimes complex and nuanced journey that our son entered as both a student and an athlete. Beginning in grade 8, Markโ€™s advice and guidance was thoughtful and impactful. He served to not only advise but to also motivate our son to meet the high standards needed to attend and compete at an Ivy League school. Mark took a very hands-on approach and helped our son work through the application needs of multiple universities while also helping him advocate for himself to coaches. In the end, our son was accepted at Brown University — his first choice and best fit school. He met with great success both in the classroom and on the field as a football athlete. Mark is an experienced and compassionate advisor who never hesitated to help us, as parents, to be appropriately part of the process while always keeping the needs of our son first! I strongly encourage any family going through the university admissions and selection process to use Mark. You will never be disappointed!

Mark guided my daughter through a process where she articulated the aspects of college that were most important to her. He assisted her in locating schools that met her guidelines. Together they scheduled tours and special meetings with faculty within her areas of major options. He reviewed and edited the essays that were submitted with her applications. And, most important to me, he took charge of making sure she met all deadlines for submissions and became the โ€œnagโ€ so that I did not have to take on that job. My daughter selected a school that was a perfect fit for her! She had an amazing four years at that university. We credit Mark for helping her find the school that was right for her. So, 3 years later, when my son was ready to apply to college, we called Mark again for assistance. Mark did the same tasks for my son. And, again, my son selected a school that is a perfect fit for him! College selection is a grueling process for the student and the parents. Mark helped to reduce the stress and make the process much easier. His knowledge of all of the schools and the admission process is amazing.
