Biography
Daniel David has eighteen years of teaching and tutoring experience. During this time, he has established a strong track record of student achievement, from elementary school up through college.
Daniel specializes in various standardized exams, and his test prep students have earned admission to top-tier colleges and universities. For college admissions, he tutors PSAT, SAT, and ACT; for grad school, GRE and GMAT. For selective schools, he tutors SHSAT, ISEE, SSAT, ERB, and Hunter College High School exam. He is a trusted advisor during the college application process, helping students to draft their personal statements and edit their resumes, while also counseling on potential school fit.
In addition to test prep, Daniel has deep expertise in a variety of elementary, middle, and high school subjects. His favorite thing to do is workshop essays with his students. He is equally comfortable helping students with their humanities or STEM classes, from introductory to AP level. For language arts and social sciences, he teaches Essay Writing, Literature, World History, U.S. history, Psychology, Poli Sci, and Economics. For math, he teaches Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Statistics. For natural sciences, he teaches Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. As a fluent speaker, he also tutors Spanish.
He earned his master’s in education from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his Business Foundations Capstone at the Wharton School. For undergrad, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double majored (news and editorial journalism, English) and double minored (creative writing, writing for stage & screen).
