Kindergarten Readiness & Lower School Admissions

Helping your child get Kindergarten-ready and ready to show their best self!

Starting Kindergarten is a big step. At Inspirica, we help 4- and 5-year-olds build the confidence, skills, and self-awareness they need to walk into the classroom ready to learn, connect, and shine.

And we go beyond the basics.

Our expert early childhood educators start by getting to know your child, their strengths, their personality, and the areas where they could use a little extra support. From there, we create a personalized plan with 1:1 enrichment and guided activities that build early academic skills, social-emotional confidence, communication, and self-expression.

The goal? Help your child feel comfortable being themselves while showing schools what they know and what makes them unique.

You do not need to know exactly what kind of support your child needs before getting in touch.

Getting Ready for Admissions Evaluations

Many top private schools use the Thinking & Engagement (T&E) Assessment as part of their Kindergarten admissions process. This virtual evaluation looks at skills like language, reasoning, and problem-solving.

Inspirica provides expert 1:1 T&E preparation using a proven, research-based approach. We help children get comfortable with the format, build the skills being assessed, and — most importantly — feel confident enough to show what they know.

The right connection can make all the difference

When we started working with Kalen to support our son through the private school kindergarten admissions process, she formed such a positive connection with him that we decided to continue with weekly sessions indefinitely.

Preparing for School-Specific & Play-Based Evaluations

Not every school uses the T&E. Some schools create their own assessments, while others use play-based observations to get a feel for how a child:

  • Communicates and expresses ideas
  • Solves problems and thinks through challenges
  • Follows directions and engages with adults
  • Interacts, plays, and works with others
  • Approaches new activities and unfamiliar situations

Whatever the format, we meet your child where they are and help them feel comfortable with an admissions-based experience.

Whether your child is preparing for the T&E, a school-specific evaluation, or a play-based admissions visit, Inspirica helps them build the skills and confidence to put their best foot forward — and let their personality shine through.

Kindergarten admissions aren't just about what a child knows. They're about helping schools see who your child is.
