SCHOOL AND COLLEGE ABILITY TEST (SCAT) PREP

$150 per 85-minute one-on-one session.

Our approach to School and College Ability Test (SCAT) prep relies on finding the perfect balance between reviewing content and honing test strategy. Although the SCAT is unique to the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) admissions process, the test itself is a composite of the SSAT’s analogies section and the ISEE’s Quantitative Comparisons. This makes the SCAT among the easiest tests to prep for with Inspirica, since each of those question-types sits near the top of our list of favorite question-types to teach our students.

The School and College Ability Test (SCAT) is used by Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in its talent search and admissions process

Although CTY offers a variety of testing options for interested students located in the United States, the SCAT offers several major advantages, including short testing time, flexible scheduling, and an online test-at home option. Moreover, because SCAT is the only option offered to students in East Asia, it is by far the most popular option for students intending to apply to CTY.
